zzFractal Screensaver is a colorful display based on the Mandelbrot set images.

The Mandelbrot set is a famous example of a fractal in mathematics. It is named after BenoƮt Mandelbrot, a Polish-French-American mathematician. The Mandelbrot set is vital for the Chaos Theory. The edging of the set shows a self-similarity, which is not perfect because it has deformations.

Now, we could've posted all the complex equations involved but figured the simple definition would suit most of us non-mathematicians just fine. Regardless, it is a cool image to grace your screens with some nerdy-goodness. We also understand that most don't traditionally use screensavers. We use them because it's fun to have cool images break up our work time.

zzFractal Screensaver comes in a zip file as a .scr, which is typical of most screensavers. To use it, right-click on zzFractal.scr after extracting it from the zip file and select "Install" or "Test" to preview it before installing. Also from there, the screensaver settings can be configured which at this time there are none included. It additionally lists the current OS that the screensaver is being run on from the configuration menu window.
