Zed 0.178.5 released
The release of Zed editor 0.178.5 (and 0.178.4) brings a range of enhancements and bug fixes. The updates cover a git.hunk_style setting that determines the appearance of staged or unstaged hunks, enhancements to gutter diff hunks to indicate the staging status, the addition of a secondary meta key to the Zed keystroke parser, the capability to open folders in Zed via third-party macOS file managers, a sign-out button for Copilot within Assistant settings, and improved cmd-click functionality in the terminal for locating additional paths. Furthermore, there is support for workspace/executeCommand pertaining to actions' data.In Linux, the nano text editor now saves (Ctrl-O) by default in the terminal environment. Enhancements have been made to languages, featuring the auto-closing of JSX tags, support for clangd's inactiveRegions extension, and the inclusion of vtsls and typescript-language-server among the available language servers. The enhancements in Python now include improved highlighting for default function arguments and scoped identifiers.
