You can choose how long you want your password to be on the first window that appears. You are reminded that shorter passwords mean weaker encryption and the developer even makes three suggestions to determine how many characters offer the best security.
Once the password is generated, you can choose to save the password to a file, a good idea if you're using 20-63 characters.
You can now enter your router name, WPA2Gen will save the password to a text file, and it even generates a QR code for you.
