WmiSysInfos is a freeware, portable system information tool to retrieve all of your hardware and software information.
WmiSysInfos is a freeware, portable system information tool to retrieve all of your hardware and software information. While WmiSysInfos doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, the application itself is straightforward to use. From the main window, you can browse the left side or select from the available icons. These are Summary, Core, Storage, Display, Multimedia, Printers, Processes, Services, Network, Shared Folders, Users and Groups, Other Peripherals, Installed Products, and Registry. There is also a summary for quick access to the most common information. It's faster to use the left side and scroll because each icon is actually a category with sub-categories. For example, the Core category has Motherboard, Bios, Processor, and Memory as sub-categories.The registry settings are one of the only tweaks in here allowing you to see what is running under Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run but we don't mind that, it's not a tweaking tool. All reports can be exported as text, HTML, or XML and there are a few options and preferences most won't need. So, is this a system information tool you should consider? We think so. It's every bit as good as any of the other listings here on MajorGeeks and we'd pick this over one that wasn't portable, for example.Download
