The release of Wine 9.22 brings enhancements such as support for display mode virtualization, updated locale data to Unicode CLDR 46, increased network session support in DirectPlay, and the activation of the Wayland driver in the default configuration. The release addresses 19 bugs, encompassing problems with locale settings, Cygwin setup hangs, inconsistent support in MusicBee, unhandled page faults in SnakeQR, as well as issues related to Windows Movie Maker and the active window. The release is made possible through the efforts of numerous individuals.
