Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27818 (Canary Channel) released

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27818 to Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel, introducing various enhancements and fixes aimed at refining the overall experience for Insiders utilizing this build on their PCs. The update features a modification in the Windows Security application to provide enhanced information regarding Pluton TPM chips, as well as the deactivation of suggested actions when copying phone numbers or future dates. Improvements cover a fix for the d3d9.dll crash that was preventing several applications from launching, enhanced performance for extracting zipped files in File Explorer, and rectifications for issues related to taskbar app window previews and underlines beneath app icons. The input issue has been resolved, addressing a significant crash related to ctmon.exe, while the settings have been corrected to eliminate a memory reference error message. The graphics issues have been resolved, and the Admin Protection feature has been updated to prevent the installation of Visual Studio Code when enabled. The issues with Remote Desktop have been resolved, and several applications have been corrected regarding an error message.
