Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26244 (Canary Channel) released
Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26244 is available for Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel, featuring some general improvements and fixes. The update introduces a new Windows Backup feature that allows users to backup their sound settings, as well as a new Game Pass recommendation card on the Settings homepage. The update now redirects connections to the Fonts Control Panel page to the Fonts settings page (Settings > Personalization > Fonts). Additionally, the issue that caused some insiders to see a Pcasvc.dll error box pop-up with the statement "Missing entry: PcaWallpaperAppDetect" after upgrading from Windows 11 version 22H2/23H2 to a 26xxx build has been resolved.
