WinCopyPasteDates is an Open Source script that adds two right-click context menu items that allow you to copy and paste file dates.
Currently, WinCopyPasteDates does not support folders. It works with built-in tools allowing the resulting script to be just a few lines of commands in batch files. Robocopy is used to store the dummy zero-length .DATES file with copied dates in the %TMP%\WinCPD directory.
Installation is straightforward; after downloading, unzip to any folder, then Run WinCPD_Install.bat (with admin rights). You can also open WinCPD_Install.bat with "Run as administrator." Uninstalling is equally simple via WinCPD_Unistall.reg. This will wipe WinCPD's context menu entries from the registry.
WinCopyPasteDates makes moving dates file to file an easy process whenever the need arises.
