Wii U USB Helper allows you to download, backup and play games from the eShop servers on your PC and Android.
Wii U USB Helper allows you to download, backup and play games from the eShop servers on your PC and Android.Wii U USB Helper promises up to ten times faster downloads, the ability to play Wii U and 3DS games directly on your computer and even install GameCube games on your Wii U and play them with the GamePad.During installation, you need to select a folder to install to. You might want to create something on your C: drive, for example, a "Wii U USB Helper" folder. There are known issues installing to the C:Program Files folders, so please avoid that. Afterwards, be sure to select the proper region for your console, or once again, you could run into problems. You will also need to allow firewall access (common) and a folder to save your games to with the warning not to use C:Program Files folders again. Finally, you will need to input the WiiU or 3DS URL. They will not provide this because they don't want their app used as a piracy tool. It's easy to get around, but we appreciate the effort here.Overall, the interface is well laid out considering the amount of information here. It reminds us a little of Steam or other game downloading clients, so that's a good thing. You can view your library, apply filters, do an advanced search and change advanced settings. Game info includes general info, on the web, extra, screenshots, movies, and save manager. You can add a desktop shortcut, download or play a game, add, delete or even copy to SD. You can also find batch commands at the bottom. Finally, if you made a mistake, you can change the game directory, download folder, and region. Because we don't have a WiiU or 3DS here, we weren't able to download and run any games, but we get the point.Wii U USB Helper is easy to use immediately, on par with any professional gaming clients including Steam, Uplay or Origin, except two people developed only this. Impressive, to say the least.Download
