Why are Laptop Mice SO Annoying?

Published by

I mostly rely on my notebook computer for portable computing. It comes in quite handy when I have to write articles on the go or simply browse the Internet comfortably when I?m away from my desk. While I thoroughly enjoy the portability factor and dearly appreciate it, I find it painful to work with the built in "mouse pad". It just doesn?t have the fast response time that the desktop mice do. In addition to that, sometimes when I have to click on a minute link or really need the mouse to be stable, it?s not cooperative. With that said, the diminutive red button that is usually integrated in the center of the notebook comes in handy. Since my notebook computer features both, I am more productive with the red pointer than I am with the actual pad. Of course, I am only persuaded to use the red pointer due to the lack of smooth surface or the space for a separate desktop mouse. I know there are users who are exceptionally efficient with the implemented solutions, but for me these options fail to perform.
