Whitenoir is a freeware, portable app that can change any image to a two-color monochrome image.

Whitenoir is easy to use. Click on the folder icon to select an image. Use the slider at the bottom to change the saturation from 1-99. Finally, click on the wand icon to the right to see the changes.

Once you're happy, click on the save icon next to where you opened the image. You can save it as new or in the same folder.

You can also undo the changes and start over.

The Whitenoir website has disappeared, so the app is unsupported. That said, it works up to Windows 10, and it's so easy to use you shouldn't need support or help.
