Purpose-built for medium to large-scale business customers and support for up to 24-bay NAS systems, the new Red Pro drives are engineered with CMR recording technology at 7200RPM, allowing them to handle high-intensity workloads in 24x7 environments. WD indicates that they are perfect for archiving and sharing use cases and are well suited for RAID array rebuilding on extended operating systems including ZFS.
