A new version of VKD3D-Proton, a fork of VKD3D that aims to integrate the entire Direct3D 12 API on top of Vulkan, has been released. The support for VK EXT descriptor buffer, new extension requirements, rewritten support for host accessible images, rewritten swap chain, and various fixes and workarounds are all included in this release, which incorporates some significant new developments before the holidays.
