MajorGeek says: Vivaldi is a new browser from the founders of the original Opera Web Browser in 1994.Truth be told the web browser landscape is constantly changing. Firefox is up and down, Google Chrome seems to be getting worse and alternative builds of those tend to be really popular (Chromium, Waterfox, etc.) so this could be an interesting project; essentially a well needed reboot of the original Opera which has really not been competitive in the face of the big boys including Internet Explorer. It has some really neat features like temporary zooming in or out with a reset, quick access to hide images for fast load times, a handy, unobtrusive sidebar with access to links, downloads and more. An email client in the future is promised. The toughest part going forward is an obvious one. It's not a very catchy name. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Chrome are all household names or at least easy to say and remember. Vivaldi? Not so much.As a tech preview we could have a lot of complaints but that's really not fair in this stage of development. At this stage however, it is stable and fast. I don't think it's ready to replace your browser yet but if you like to get a look at new browsers early on, this is worth a peek.
