VidCutter is designed to be an easy to use video cutter and joiner.

Using VidCutter, you can easily cut and trim out as much of a video as you want and save it as a new video. Remove boring parts, embarrassing parts or cut out boring beginnings or ends (please).

The big surprise here is the simplicity. We were able to immediately start cropping out and saving a video with no tutorial or FAQ. That's probably a good thing because there isn't one, but you won't need it.

Big buttons steer the way for you; Open Media, Play, Clip Start, Clip End and Save. Drag the slider wherever you like and select Clip start. From there drag it to the clip end and save. One issue is if you make a mistake and want to revert it, we couldn't find that. We could only close the program and reload my media.

Keyboard shortcuts are available and can be found on the lower right menu. This is handy for stepping forward or backward a frame or 5 seconds as well as setting the clip start\end marker and play\pause.

VidCutter also features a wealth of information about the video that's currently open. While it's too much to list here, it includes the format, coded ID, bit rate, frame rate, channels, sampling rate, language, date and more. It works well just as a system information tool for your videos.

Finally, you can also open and save EDL files, view a log file and even check for updates.

If you're looking to cut and join parts of your videos, VidCutter is tough to beat!
