I was going to build a new PC using a AMD CPU and Abit motherboard but with this news I am going to wait a bit longer.
SYSTEM BUILDERS attending a Gartner summit in Monaco earlier this week went to a VIA presentation where they were told the firm would introduce three chipsets for AMD's Hammer microprocessors.
A system builder said VIA told him and a group of other integrators that one of these, called the K8UMA, would use integrated Zoetrope graphics with 800MHz Hypertransport links, while another VIA K8 chipset would provide similar functionality but without the integrated graphics. Source: TheInquirer
