UsbFix is a free, malware removal tool that helps you to detect and remove infected USB memory sticks or any other USB removable devices.

For scanning and live protection, consider downloading Malwarebytes.

The idea behind UsbFix is to stop or clean infections that begin from a USB drive, mainly thumb drives. Malware and viruses can be spread from computer to computer by an infected thumb drive.

By removing all traces of found infections, UsbFix restores damaged security features, including access to the registry and task manager, as well as the display of hidden files, and much more.

To avoid problems, UsbFix will backup all files and folders if an infection is found. These deleted files are saved in the extension .vir in the quarantine folder: C:UsbFixQuarantine.

If you use thumb drives frequently, UsbFix can also prevent possible reinfection. It does this by creating autorun.inf files in the drives to protect against other infections.

All that said, UsbFix doesn't have the best-looking interface out there with loud colors that make using it at times distracting. It has a drive cleaner included, but does not tell you what it is scanning for and removing. Using a better drive cleaner would be a better idea here. We recommend CCleaner or Wise Disk Cleaner.
