USB Shutdown is a small portable tool for quickly shutting down your PC by inserting or removing a USB flash drive.

To use USB Shutdown, make sure you have a USB inserted in the target machine before running, then just extract the contents of the ZIP file and run as administrator. While USB Shutdown is running, it will monitor if any USB mass storage media has been inserted or removed from the PC. If you remove or attach a USB pen drive, it will run the command that is specified in the text box. This predefined command can be altered from shutdown /s /f /t 20 (shutdown in 20 seconds) to whatever you like. And it also includes an option to quickly reset it to default as well as the ability to abort any shutdown.
