url render for Chrome and Edge is a free extension that permits you to browse websites without opening a new tab.

Save yourself some time by browsing websites from your favorite search engine result page (only Google, Yahoo, Bing, Duckduckgo, and Qwant search engines at this time). The selected website will be viewable directly from the search engine results page.

url render is meant to increase your efficiency and speed, allowing you to find the information you need more rapidly. It will permit you to navigate through news websites from the news tab, listen to music from YouTube, Spotify, and more. Everything searchable can be rendered and accessible the same as if you used tabs, but all the while conserving those precious resources expended by having multiple tabs open.
