Ubuntu 25.04 (Plucky Puffin) Beta released

The beta version of Ubuntu 25.04 (Plucky Puffin) is now available for download. This release features images from a range of Ubuntu variants, encompassing Ubuntu Desktop, Server, Cloud, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, UbuntuKylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio, Ubuntu Unity, and Xubuntu. The Beta images are devoid of any showtopper image build or installer issues and reflect a recent snapshot of version 25.04, which is anticipated to showcase the features expected in the final release scheduled for April 17, 2025. The Ubuntu 25.04 Beta features updated versions of the majority of core packages, including the latest 6.14 kernel. To transition to Ubuntu 25.04 Beta from Ubuntu 24.10, please adhere to the following instructions. The Beta images are available for download from multiple locations, including the Ubuntu Server image, which incorporates the next generation Subiquity server installer.
