TrayControl allows you to control the visibility of Systray app icons through a straightforward command center.
TrayControl is easy to use, and all program types are supported, system, sound, network, etc. It will remember if the icon is hidden or visible and can auto-restore them after restarting. TrayControl is also capable of changing the app tray icon as well as its tooltip.
You can perform these actions without a third-party app, but TrayControl puts everything at your fingertips in a single location. It also allows access to the features of a highlighted app, as shown in screenshot #2 for Safely Remove Hardware.
TrayControl does require 7-Zip or similar to unpack the archive.
