To Dual Or Not To Dual

Bitbender have posted a new guide which takes a look @ dual processor mainboards. Here's a snip.

This has been one topic that has plagued me since the development of the AMD dual athlon machine. An inexpensive (compared to Xeon) dual setup seems powerful on paper to us consumers, but what is it worth to an everyday person. What I have done in this review is to try and see what is it really worth upgrading to the latest and greatest. I have chosen 3 boards that would be great examples. The first is my tried and true Iwill KK266 Plus. When I got this board, it was the latest and greatest, using the Via Apollo KT133A chipset. I did the tests with both a 1.3thunderbird and a 2000 xp, for not everyone would run out and get an XP, but most got a 1.3 when they picked up this good board. The next board is the MSI K7T266 Pro2 with a 2000 xp. It has the Via Kt266a chipset, which in my opinion was a great step up While I was shopping for a new board, I was surprised at the number of people that mentioned this board, and now after owning it I can see why. I found that this board is one of my favorites. The last board is the MSI K7D Master L with dual 2000 MP. To Dual Or Not To Dual
