TimVer 0.9.1
TimVer is similar to the built-in Winver command but goes beyond its capabilities by providing additional details that Winver does not display. With TimVer, you can get a more detailed insight into your Windows version, which can help troubleshoot issues and ensure compatibility with software and hardware.
TimVer is straightforward to install and deploy; it pulls the display information from the Environment, Windows Management Information (WMI), and the Windows registry at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion. It is broken down into several areas of interest available from the left-hand side menu. You can view Computer info, History, and options for modifying the general appearance.
We have to admit, the fact that it is called TimVer is what initially caught our eye - for our Tim. But being Open Source and having some extra details available above the standard WinVer sealed the deal.
