TileIconifier is an Open Source project that allows you to customize start menu tiles for your applications.

TileIconifier allows the creation of Medium and Small tiles for your applications, as well as the ability to modify their current shortcut where possible. You can create custom shortcuts to Steam games, Chrome apps, Windows Store apps and explorer shortcuts, or any other shortcut target you wish using custom VBS script launchers. TileIconifier also permits you to extract icons from the software EXE/DLL, without using any other external program. It can additionally move and resize the image to where you want it within the file, allowing more customization.

TileIconifier is a relatively straightforward way to allow those that would like a bit of customization to their start menu by creating custom tiles allowing them to access their apps easily.
