ThinkPad X301 Reviewed

A few weeks ago, when Intel’s Montevina rolled into town we saw a number of notebooks refreshed. Every company wanted to move their notebooks to the new platform, and Lenovo was one of the first out of the gate. Almost every ThinkPad received the Centrino 2 treatment, but one that was obviously missing was the flagship X300. This model uses Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor which was not included in the first part of Intel’s Centrino 2 release. The ULV models were rolled out later than the standard mobile processors, which is why we are seeing products like the ThinkPad X301 and HP EliteBook 2530p coming out later than their 14.1 and 15.4-inch counterparts.  ThinkPad X301 Reviewed
