The Groot Search 1.0
The Groot Search V3 manifest extension allows you to instantly search selected text from any web page using the multi-functional search engine Groot. When you choose any text, a context menu option will appear. You will see an icon on the context menu and "Groot Search:" displayed. This feature lets you initiate a Groot search based on the selected text.
First things first
To get this extension loaded on your Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, NetSurfer, Opera, Vivaldi, etc.), as it isn't currently available in the Chrome Web Store, you will need to follow these steps;
Open Chrome and type "chrome://extensions/" in the bar
Enable "Developer mode" using the toggle in the top right corner.
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension file folder.
