LaTeX was new to me, so if it's new to you - LaTeX is a method of creating documents using plain text, stylized using markup tags, similar to HTML/CSS or Markdown. LaTeX is most commonly used to create documents for academia, such as academic journals.
TeXstudio requires a LaTeX distribution to be on your computer. Links are provided to download MiKTeX or TeX Live.
