On our review bench today is the TerraMaster F2-212, billed as an affordable, low power two-bay NAS that holds a maximum 44TB of storage via two 22TB drives (2.5- and 3.5-inch SATA drives and 2.5-inch SSDs supported) in tool-free, hot-swappable drive sleds. The F2-212 comes with a Realtek ARM quad-core 1.7GHz processor and 1GB fixed DDR4 RAM, and is intended for high-speed file storage with support for 4K video encoding.
The F2-212 overall is a nice low-power NAS that excels at file storage capabilities, and can be used for some other tasks as long as you take into account its limited RAM and processing power.
