While there is no harm in trying out TaskbarXI as a portable app, note that this is a very early preview. Once you run the app, it makes the Taskbar neater by giving the Start Menu and System Tray a dock-like appearance. See our screenshot below.

Clicking on the icon in the System Tray will give you the option to close it.

We almost didn't add this, but we want to see where it goes considering we already know what the developer can do. If you're not interested in testing pre-release software, we suggest you wait until it is released as a stable app. A GUI is expected later. That said, it's portable and automatically reverts to the default Windows 11 Taskbar, so there's no harm in trying it.

Current features:
Turn the Windows 11 Taskbar into a dock.
Turn the tray/clock into a dock.
Support multiple monitors.
Support separate DPI scaling.
Switch back to normal on the maximized window.
Support left and centered taskbar.
Tray icon to exit TaskbarXI and revert to the default taskbar.
