Taskbar Monitor displays at-a-glance details about your machine's resource usage right from the taskbar.
It includes usage charts displaying CPU and memory usage as a deskband (a toolbar embedded into the taskbar) to keep you informed about usage as you go about your day. There are four sections, each assigned a stat percentage. The sections are CPU, Mem, Disk, and Net. Each is updated in real-time, so you get an accurate resource usage picture. Each section includes a usage graph allowing you to see the spikes and lulls while you work, giving you pinpoint data on high usage times.
To use Taskbar Monitor, after running, right-click on taskbar > then hit toolbars from the menu.
Taskbar Monitor provides you with useful data about resource usage; the only downside is that it is quite small, and depending on your machine's color scheme, it may be hard to read for some. A useful addition would be mouse-over details being provided - perhaps in a future version.
