Syderal_Kombat is an arcade-shooter inspired by Tempest.

The game incorporates various arcade elements like recordable high-score, difficulty increased by time and those wonderful sounds that were everpresent in arcades blasting through your speakers. The idea is to test your skills, so no powerups are implemented. Gameplay is achieved by moving your square-shaped ship with the left/right arrow keys and firing lasers via the spacebar. You have to destroy the enemy spaceship with multiple laser strikes to advance through the different levels. Each hit to the enemy spaceship shrinks its size until fully destroyed.

The game has a simple plot described as follows: mankind discovered the core of the universe, the source of all energy, but an alien race is fighting to conquer it for evil purposes. You are the most skilled pilot and you were designed to fight the evil aliens to take the core of the universe.
