Thanks to Elite Bastards and Hinkle for the Heads Up!
We've all had our turn complaining about marketing-related nonsense going on in the gaming industry, especially on the video card end of the spectrum. If I had a penny every time I heard someone complain about Doom 3s supposed NVIDIA bias, or Valve being 'paid off by ATI' with regard to Half-Life 2 then... Well... I'd be writing this from my own luxurious island surrounding by beautiful women. But, whatever complaints you had about these titles and others, there was always one comforting factor - You were still getting a great gaming experience regardless of your preferred video card manufacturer at the end of the day - Doom 3 still runs well on an X800, and Half-Life 2 is fabulous on a GeForce 6800.
