thecaretaker over in the UK has posted this on his forum: OK, I'm making a bit of a stand for the UK here and I doubt it will make the slightest bit of difference, but it seems to be something that nobody has spotted or sorted out ever since IE was first thought of. I am in fact, talking about the way we people in the United Kingdom spell the work 'Favourites' and not as people in the United States spell it as 'Favorites'...
If Microsoft are going to produce UK and US language versions of IE7 (I had the option when I installed IE7), then please for god sake get the spelling correct!
This is not a new problem. This problem has not been fixed for many generations of Internet Explorer and it still has not been fixed for IE7
Microsoft know about this error, I wrote to them 2 years ago, they even replied to me telling me they would look into this for the next version, but it was obviously clap trap.
So, if anybody from Microsoft is looking in, or any Beta testers are able to use a bit of clout to get this spelling mistake sorted, please get Microsoft to fix this before they carry on and make the same mistake yet again!
In the UK, it's Favourites, not Favorites!
