To unlock the tweaks you only need to open the toolbar and place a checkmark on the desired item (or click on the desired tweak icon for #7 & #8). There are no tweaks selected by default, so you may need to play around a little to find the best combination for your browser of choice. Uncheck your selections to return to the previous setting.
Speed Tweaks is straightforward to set up and use making a handy option for those wanting to squeeze every bit of performance out of their chosen browser.
For those using Edge, you can use the Chrome extension.
