Soundscape plays a variety of sounds, such as natural noises from animals, wind, and water, to help alleviate your day's stress. It includes two example soundscapes for you to explore. To access the application menu, right-click in the main window or on the tray icon. You can easily add or remove soundtracks from the menu and customize their settings according to your preferences.
Soundscape utilizes a range of neutral ambient white noises, considered less disruptive and highly sought after. When launched, Soundscape welcomes users to a blank canvas that can be filled with a selection of pre-installed sound effects of varying lengths and styles. These effects have individually adjustable volumes and replay patterns, allowing users to create a diverse atmosphere without the feeling of repetitive tracks.
Those who enjoy the calming sounds of heavy rain can manually adjust the intensity of each type of recording and deactivate those that do not meet their preferences. Users can also add custom sounds to create the perfect blend of audio effects, replacing unwanted real-life noises with pure calm. There are sites that provide free sound clips that you can use with Soundscape. But we found the included river and rain/thunder examples perfectly did the trick of blocking out the chainsaws screaming in the background as neighbors do their spring yard cleaning. Ahhhh, Zen.
