Simple Bandwidth Monitor is a freeware utility that allows you to observe your network usage in real-time.

Simple Bandwidth Monitor provides you with a realtime graphical display of your network usage with the added ability to target daily and monthly download and upload statistics. It will save the current statistics every 10-seconds, with all recorded rates being displayed in bits per second (Kilobits or Megabits). The usage display is color-coded with red signifying upstream traffic and green downstream.

To use Simple Bandwidth Monitor, you will need to Run as Administrator. All its settings are available by right-clicking on the display. The available options are Run at Startup, transparent text, and network interface selection. You can also access stats via the same process.
