SilentRun can conceal program windows and interfaces and adjust the priority of background processes. Additionally, it can mute programs with sound output and operate them discreetly in the background.

SilentRun boasts a user-friendly interface, making it effortless to operate. To execute a program silently, drag the selection box in the window's top-left corner to the title bar or program window that requires silent running. SilentRun selects the program and showcases its thumbnail in the preview section. Certain applications use a non-standard GUI, which may appear as a black square. Once selected, you can adjust the background silent running priority (default is "Normal") located below the preview area, toggle the sound output to mute, and finally click the "Hide It" button. These steps can be repeated to enable multiple programs to run silently in the background.

SilentRun offers a GUI visual interface and a Command Line mode for running other visual programs. With the command line mode, these programs can be run silently in the background without displaying their interface. Additionally, parameters can be provided to invoked programs and EXEs.

Command Line Usage

SilentRun.exe -t [The time of EXE program initialization] -r [process priority] -m [mute] -e [EXE Path] [EXE Parameters]

-t The time of EXE program initialization, milliseconds.

-r The process priority of the EXE to be called.
0=Realtime (Highest)
1=High
2=Normal
3=Low
4=Idle(Lowest)

-m Mute the EXE.
0=Mute
1=No Mute

-e The full path of the EXE to be called. If there are spaces in the full path, please enclose the path in double quotes.

If you want to add parameters for the EXE, you can add them after the EXE full path.

Full Example:

SilentRun.exe -t 1000 -r 4 -m 0 -e "D:\Update tool\upd-tool.exe" -v 1 -s server2
