The interface of Series Organizer is a little rough around the edges, but don't let that stop you. Sometimes the mouse cursor disappears in forms. Pressing buttons does not have any reaction, so you can't always be sure you pressed a button. Since the databases are massive, this often leaves you looking at the screen for a minute. The buttons sometimes have letters outside of your view or words shortened to make them fit, but it's not rocket science. These include Add Series, Remove Series, Update Database, All, Archived, and To See. There are options, but they loaded behind the main application so we couldn't get to them. You might not have these issues, as we test in a virtual machine. In this case, the app was bigger than our virtual machine, so we ran into some proprietary problems. Occasionally, on the first search, we would get an error, but on the second try, it worked. The author has addressed several of the initial observations mentioned above with this current release and continues to improve the app.

RSS feeds are available to get the latest industry news and find out about the newest television shows.

Series Organizer's main strength lies in the ability to track your favorite shows — for example, airdate, network, series status, and overview.

Series Organizer certainly needs a lot of work in the design and intuitive departments and has some bugs, but again, don't let that stop you. Hopefully, development continues to fine-tune it. That said, Series Organizer is a freeware program that has all the features you need to track your favorite television shows.
