ScanTransfer enables you to transfer images and videos to your PC from your phone without the need for an additional smartphone app.
It works by initiating a local web server on your PC first, then when you scan the QR code, it proceeds to open a local web app on your PC. This is where you can transfer and download the image or video files to your computer. Now obviously, you need the capability to scan a QR code with your phone; this can be done either through your internet browser (if equipped) or by installing a QR reader. Once scanned, you can transfer single images/videos or do them in bulk. Everything is performed inside your local area network for privacy.
You can also use ScanTransfer with Facebook, the Twitter app, as well as other QR-capable apps. Additionally, Android smartphone users can transfer other types of files like audio, documents, and more.
