San Francisco based Scale Eight is a streaming media internet company who now has M$ on their customers list. Scale Eight was chosen to deliver outgoing MSN audio streams via their server network about the globe (~2000 servers in 4 data centers). Special about is that they run a home-made OS that relocates resources if a server fails.
