Samba 4.20.7 released

Samba 4.20.7 has been released and represents the most recent stable version within the Samba 4.20 release series. Recent updates since version 4.20.6 encompass a range of enhancements and fixes. Notable changes include improved performance of sharesec with a high volume of registry shares, resolution of compound rename failures from Mac clients due to NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR, and addressing a panic issue in close_directory. Additionally, a memory leak associated with wbcCtxLookupSid has been rectified, along with a fix for heap-user-after-free related to association groups. The updates also include adjustments to reverse values from hresult_errstr_const and hresult_errstr, the generation of Kerberos referral tickets for principals within domains, an update to CTDB for tracking TCP connections to public IP addresses, and measures to prevent event failure races.
