French website PCInpact has noticed that S3 Graphics is no longer listed in the list of members of the Futuremark BETA program, whereas manufacturers such as ATI, Nvidia, XGI Technology and Imagination Technologies/PowerVR still are. This is odd as S3 was supposed to show off the DeltaChrome VPU soon.

Does history repeat itself? We all remember Nvidia left Futuremark when they noticed the GeforceFX performed badly with 3D Mark 2003. Could it be that S3 left for the same reason?
