SSD’s using the NVMe form factor have been around now for a few years which means there is a chance that you will start having a few older lying around when you upgrade. It doesn’t help that most motherboards only have one or max two NVMe-slots meaning that you cannot, like you can with a regular 2.5″ SSD, place them inside the case. So what should you do with a older NVMe-SSD? One solution is to get an external enclosure and transform the SSD to a external SSD.
