Rage3D have released a new version of their tweak tool v2.8 Beta 3
We're almost there... Probably one more beta to go before release. There's a lot of fixes and new features added for this version, so give it a run and let us know how it works for you. For the list of fixes hit read more. 1) Check the new Game Util category in the tweaks section. It allows you to do the following: Enable/Disable remembering your Gamma/Brightness/Contrast settings made in a game with the hot-keys, and whether or not they are re-applied each time you run the game.
Enable/Disable Running of the automatic Per-Game profiles... i.e. disabled means it doesn't automaically set the tweaks for a game if it recognizes the executable.
Enable/Disable remembering your per-game Sound volume. Each time you run a game, it will re-apply the volume setting you last had if this option is enabled.
Enable/Disable Overclocking on a per-game basis. If enabled, you can assign specific clock speeds to an executable which will be applied when u run that game.
Enable/Diable the setting of your clock speeds each time you boot.
An experimental option to change the desktop resolution to 800x600 each time you run a game. This frees up video memory, which often helps improve performance, (and corrects for a FSAA bug in a couple drivers where it won't work if your desktop res is too high). Try it out, it seems to work ok for me, but we'll have to see if it causes any problems for anyone. 2) Fixed the D3D FSAA tweak to support 2x-6x SmoothVision. Will update the OpenGL tweak when I know what the settings are. 3) Fixed a lot of bugs. 4) Added a new menu to the right-click menu for the Rage3D Tweak task bar icon. The "Desktop" menu allows you to change color depth and resolution from the task bar icon instead of using a seperate program like quickres or opening the display properties.
