I´ve downloaded the Radeon 8500 beta drivers version W9x_9005 then installed it on my old Radeon
LE(DX FSAA6x work!!!up to 800x600, use FSAA always on,in register set AntiAliasRatio value 627 and set AntiAliasSamples value 6,). Althought I´ve noticed some minor graphic glitches in a few games (to solve it I set the Vertex Shader
off in the registry-this will avoid big troubles), most of them are running now much more smoother than
before even with FSAA turned on. Tips
It´s possible to run Operation Flashpoint with a Glide API emulator! A friend of mine has a Duron
800 and a Savage 4 16MB, and, in his case, using the Glide emulator means faster and smoother graphics
and much more lighting efect than using his card´s Direct 3D API.
A tip of a good Glide API emulator: visit 3dgx and get Evoodoo Glide wrapper and
uncompress it on your game folder, then configure it by executing econtrol.exe. Don´t forget to select
Glide on the Operation Flashpoint Preferences setup!
If you wish to use the old and good Need for Speed 3 taking advantages of the Direct X 8
you´ll need the file Dx8z.dll from FIFA 2002 Thrash folder. Then rename it to d3da.dll and replace the
old one in the NFS 3 root folder. sorry my bad English
