As reported by us Nvidia has released their promised driver update going up from 40.41 to 40.71. Nvidia still is waiting for WHQL certification on the 40.xx series and we believe that any updates from 40.41 will rather be bugfix releases than anything else. This has already been proved by full functionality in Unreal Tournament 2003 demo. After the release we took 40.71 for a small ride...

However 40.71 seems a tad bit slower which might be explained by further bugfixes or other code changes but there is no real proof of that. However on a subjective note the 40.71 provide the best image quality yet to be seen in a Detonator release.
