QEMU 9.2.2 released

QEMU 9.2.2 is now available for download. The release covers various changes to system emulation, featuring the elimination of specific functionalities and adjustments that are incompatible. The -rotate and -portrait options were exclusively applicable to PXA2xx machines, and both the "proxy" backend for 9pfs and the "virtfs-proxy-helper" program have been eliminated. The "loaded" property from the 'secret' and 'tlscreds' object types has been removed, and the "query-migrationthreads" command has been deprecated.Recent advancements in CPU architecture have been successfully emulated, covering FEAT_EBF16 and FEAT_CMOW. The current board models have been revised, and KVM-based virtual machines are now capable of supporting MTE. The HVF accelerator now enables the creation of virtual machines with an address space exceeding 36 bits, provided the host is running macOS 15 or later and the host CPU is compatible. Older machine types have been eliminated, and a Rust-based alternative implementation of PL011 is now the default selection when QEMU is compiled with the experimental Rust feature.
