Proxmox Mail Gateway 8.2 released

Proxmox Server Solutions has announced the release of Proxmox Mail Gateway 8.2, the most recent iteration of Proxmox's open-source email security solution. The platform based on Debian GNU/Linux 12.9 "Bookworm" and is configured to utilize the latest Linux kernel 6.8 by default. The package comprises ZFS 2.2.7 and SpamAssassin 4.0.1, featuring updated rulesets. The anti-spam and antivirus filtering solution operates as a comprehensive mail proxy, safeguarding organizations from threats such as spam, viruses, Trojans, and phishing emails. The version enhances access management by incorporating support for various authentication realms in the backend login, allowing administrators to access Proxmox Mail Gateway through single sign-on (SSO) authentication methods, with OpenID Connect being the initial supported authentication protocol.
