PreventTurnOff is a shutdown timer with a PC Anti-Blocking System that has the essential functions of Don't Sleep. The author decided to make this one after hearing that some users didn't like the numerous tasks in Don't Sleep. PreventTurnOff is a simple shutdown timer with the advantages of an anti-blocking system with a few extra features included.

Depending on the setting, PreventTurnOff reports to the operating system that it has vital tasks; if the screen saver is to be activated or the monitor is deactivated, it is informed that it is required. It also reports that it has the highest shutdown priority to prevent other programs from being closed beforehand before PreventTurnOff received this command. Therefore, it may be closed and not intercepted by PreventTurnOff to prevent this.
