Admit it, I know you?re just as frustrated as the rest of us. I don't remember the actual date but it was approximately 10 years ago that I purchased my first 1080p monitor, it's been about 7 years that I began gaming at 1080p resolutions and that's where it's been 1080p for an eternity. If you?re budget conscious you probably can't see purchasing a $700.00 video card, just to play at higher resolutions than 1080p. You have a social life and need that weekend money to blow off some steam from that hard work week. 7 years is long enough it's time those video card manufacturers produced a mainstream video card at the $200.00 or sub level that will barrel through higher resolutions.
